Documents Required for Zerodha Account Opening

• Aadhar Card
• Pan Card
• Last Six Month Bank Statement or Cancelled Cheque or Passbook Front Page Photo for Bank Proof
• If you want to activate F & O Segment i.e. Future Option, then you will have to upload the last six month bank statement or you can also upload your last month salary slip or ITR or Form 16.
• Signature soft copy

Zerodha Online Account Opening Process

Click on the above button to open Zerodha account. After that Zerodha website will open. There you have to enter your mobile number. After that you will see the Continue button below. You have to click on that Continue button. Now a 6 digit OTP will come in your mobile. After submitting the OTP, you have to enter your email address. Another OTP will come on your email ID. After entering that OTP, you have to submit your PAN card number and date of birth.

After doing this, you will get the option of Connect to Digilocker. You have to link with your Aadhar card. Once connected, all the details of your Aadhar card will be displayed on your screen. After that you have to fill some of your basic details. In which you’re Marital Status, Father’s First Name, Father’s Last Name, Mother’s First Name, Mother’s Last Name, your Occupation, Commodity Trade Classification, Trading Experience, Annual Income and Political Exposed. After that you have to fill your banking details. In this, you have to enter the IFSC Code of the bank, bank account number, MICR Code.

After this you have to continue by agreeing to all the Terms & Conditions of Zerodha. Now you will have In-Person Verification ie IPV. In which you have to capture a photo by writing the OTP on a blank paper that you will see on the screen and submit it.

After this you will have to upload the documents, such as banking details, income proof, signature and PAN card. After that you have to do eSigning. If you have applied for both Equity and Commodity then you have to do eSigning in both.

Whenever you continue to do eSigning, you have to agree to the terms and conditions and proceed further. You will get an OTP by entering your Aadhaar number. After that you have to complete this process by clicking on Sign Now.

After completing the complete Zerodha account opening process, you will get a notification of Congratulations on your screen and within 2 days you will get the Zerodha Login ID and Password on your email ID.

To do trading in Zerodha, you need to download Zerodha’s Kite application from Play Store. In this application, you have to login by entering the password you got on your email id. Here we would like to tell you that in this Kite application, you have to enter a password and a PIN i.e. it is Double Secure.
